Functional Elder Wand Spellcasting - Damage Reduction
🎯 **Balance your magical powers! ** This mod is designed to adjust the base casting damage when you use the functional Elder Wand spellcasting mod to prevent you from becoming too invincible (OP).
---
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
Note that I couldn't get base spellcasting to work exactly like in the original game. 😔 With Elder Wand Mode enabled, each of your attacks will deal an equal amount of damage, instead of the fourth attack doing the most damage like in the original. At this point, your base spellcasting will be the same as if you were using the same base spellcasting module.
🧙♂️ Talent influence
Additionally, you won't get the buffs from the talent **Basic Casting Mastery**, since that's technically a different spell than the default basic casting!
💡 **Important Note**: If you plan to use the Elder Wand spellcasting mod, please **SKIP LEARNING THIS Talent**!
🔧 Compatibility warning

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
