✨ Module introduction

This mod **disables** the wind effects that appear when you are flying or riding in Hogwarts Legacy. It integrates the functions of three classic wind disabling modules without relying on UE4SS!

📦 Installation Guide

It is recommended to follow the steps below to install manually. While you can also use Vortex to auto-install (and skip directly to step 4), please note that Vortex can be unstable when handling Hogwarts Legacy mods (and sometimes fails to remove mods correctly).

• **Download the module**.
• **Unzip the file**.
• Move the `.utoc`, `.ucas` and `.pak` files to the `Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\` folder.
• If you haven’t installed it yet, please install the Blueprint Apparate Modloader first.
• Launch Hogwarts Legacy.
• Load your most recent save.
• Press the **F8** key to activate the Blueprint Apparate Modloader.
• Type **DisableWindFX** in the small window and press **Enter**.
• The word **DisableWindFX** should disappear and then reappear below the window with an **X** mark. If it's stuck at the top line, it's possible that a) you've put the file in the wrong folder, or b) one of your existing mods already uses pakchunk 1052. You can use my PakChunk Checker to check. If a conflict exists, please refer to the **Conflicts** section below.
• Press **F8** again to close the mod loader window.

💡 **Note**: The above process only needs to be performed once. The module will then take effect automatically.

🚀 How to use

Just use your broomstick or mount as normal. You will find that the wind effect has been automatically disabled.

🗑️ How to uninstall

There are two methods:

• **If you installed via Vortex**: Disable or uninstall it via Vortex. **But be sure to check afterwards** whether it has been removed from the `~mods` folder.
• Delete the `.utoc`, `.ucas` and `.pak` files directly from the `~mods` folder.

⚠️ Conflict description

This mod uses **pakchunk 1052**. After installing the mod, you can run my PakChunk Checker batch script to check for conflicts with your existing mods. If a conflict exists, you can use the Chunk ID Conflict Manager to fix it.
