An open source blueprint mod to help you find those annoying Demiguises.

Are you still worried about not being able to find the last few invisible beast statues? This mod helps you locate the nearest statues and plan your route! Use it repeatedly and you can quickly collect all the statues! You can even apparate directly in front of them with the Lore Friendly Apparition mod! (Except for movement within, outside and within Hogwarts Castle).

🛠️ Installation Guide

While automatic installation is possible using Vortex, Vortex's support for Hogwarts Legacy mods is sometimes unreliable, so manual installation is recommended:

• **Download and unzip** the module file.
• Copy the three files `zMyDemiguiseFinder-106_P.utoc`, `zMyDemiguiseFinder-106_P.ucas` and `zMyDemiguiseFinder-106_P.pak` to your game Mods folder:

`Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\`

• Make sure the Blueprint Apparate Modloader is installed.
• Start the game and load the save file.
• Press the **F8** key to activate the mod loader.
• Enter **`MyDemiguiseFinder`** in the small window and press **Enter**.
• If the command disappears and reappears below with an **X** next to it, the installation was successful. If it's stuck at the top, you may have misplaced the file or have a Pakchunk conflict with another mod (check with PakChunk Checker).
• Press **F8** again to close the loader window.

**Note**: The above steps only need to be performed once, and then the module will automatically take effect.

🎮 How to use

It's very simple to use:

• **Uncheck any active tasks** (for the best experience).
• Press the **HOME** button to start tracking the route.
• If you want to cancel the current search, press **SHIFT+HOME**.

⌨️Default key bindings

• **HOME**: Find the nearest Invisible Beast statue.
• **SHIFT + HOME**: Cancel search.

⚙️ Custom key bindings

You can easily modify the keys to any combination you like:

• Make sure the mod has been installed and the game has been run once.
• Enter: `%localappdata%\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor` in the address bar of the file explorer and press Enter.
• Find and open the `Input.ini` file with Notepad.
• Search for `MyDemiguiseFinder` and you will find entries similar to the following.
• Change the key name in the highlighted (green) part to the key position you want (the list of available key names can be found here).
• Save the file and restart the game.

🗑️ Uninstall method

• **Vortex Users**: Disable or uninstall in Vortex, but be sure to check the `~mods` folder afterwards to confirm the files have been removed.
• **Manual installation users**: Delete the three files `zMyDemiguiseFinder-106_P.utoc`, `.ucas` and `.pak` directly from the `~mods` folder.

⚠️ Known issues and solutions

• **Quest Interference**: If a quest is selected, the path may randomly switch from the statue back to the quest target. This is a bug in the game itself.
• **Flying Broomstick**: The path will disappear after riding the broomstick. This is a "feature" of the game and cannot be disabled. The workaround is to manually place a purple waypoint near the statue, or use the Lore Friendly Apparition mod to teleport directly.
• **Locked Door**: Sometimes the nearest statue is behind a locked door. Mods cannot detect this. Solution: 1) Teleport to a distant place and search again; 2) Use the Open All Locks (Blueprint Version) module to unlock the door; 3) Use the Apparition module to go through the door.
• **No statue at the end of the path**: If there is no statue at the end of the path …
