Modify the color of default attack spells
Default spell color modifier ✨
Tired of the same red basic attack spells? This mod allows you to freely customize its colors, adding a touch of personality to your magic battles!
🎨 Features
- **Free choice of colors**: You can change the default red attack spell to blue, green, purple, yellow, orange, pink, white, or keep the original red.
- **Simple Configuration**: Just modify one line of code in a file to complete the setup.
- **Lightweight**: Focus on changing visual effects without affecting game balance.
⚙️ Installation and use
**Prerequisites**:
You need to install the **UE4SS** framework first.
**Installation steps**:
- Unzip the downloaded ZIP file.
- Copy the extracted folder to the following path:
`Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\Mods\`
- Make sure the directory structure is as follows:
`...\Mods\WandColorChanger\Scripts\main.lua`
- Please **be sure to keep** the `enabled.txt` file in the `WandColorChanger` folder to ensure that the module loads normally.
**How to modify the color? **
Open the `main.lua` file in the `WandColorChanger/Scripts/` folder.
Find the line `local chosenColor = "red"`.
Replace the color word in quotes (e.g. `"red"`) with the color you want, for example:
`local chosenColor = "green"`
Save the file, then launch the game to take effect!
**Optional colors**: blue, green, purple, yellow, orange, pink, white, red.
🗑️ Uninstall method
To uninstall this mod, simply delete the entire `WandColorChanger` folder from your `Mods` folder.
---
**Warm Tips**: It is currently known that some special effects may still have a trace of default red, but this does not affect the main color change effect.
Enjoy your unique magic light effects! ⚡
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
