Dark and Vibrant Hogwarts Legacy Reshade Preset
🎨 **Hello everyone! **
This is my first time uploading anything so not really sure how it will turn out. This ReShade preset mainly consists of standard effects and some effects from AstrayFX. The reason why I made it is because I have been looking for a long time and could not find a quality preset for "Hogwarts Legacy" that really suits me.
So...I chose to do it myself.

To use this preset, you need to first install **ReShade**, which can be found here:

🧑🏫 Beginner Tutorial (If this is your first time using ReShade)
- **Open the ReShade installer**
- **Find `HogwartsLegacy.exe`** (choose one of the two versions)
- 💡 **Tips**: If the application does not appear in the list, please manually browse to the game's installation folder in the installer and find the game's main program.
- **Select Graphics API**: Assuming you have not switched to Vulkan, please select **DirectX12**.
- ⚠️ **Performance Tip**: If you are experiencing stuttering or freezing issues in your game and may have tried the Ascendio hotfix to no avail, I recommend you try switching to **Vulkan**.

- **Select special effects package**: Download **Standard effects** (standard special effects) and **AstrayFX** special effects package, nothing else is needed.
- **Click OK**

📥 Installation instructions
- **Download File**: Download the `.zip` file in the "File" tab of this page. If you already have ReShade installed, just download the "Presets Only" file.
- **Find the game directory**: Go to `\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64`
- **Copy Preset**: Copy the **Dark & Vibrant** preset file in the compressed package to the `Win64` folder.

❓ Possible problems
When you restart the game, the presets should load automatically. But if the game brightness does not change significantly, it means that the preset is not effective.
**Solution**:
Press the **Home** key to open the ReShade menu and look to the upper left corner of the menu. Find the two arrows pointing left and right, click on either of them once and it should load the Dark & Vibrant preset.
