**Custom settings V1**

This release includes a comprehensive set of gameplay adjustments designed to increase convenience and freedom:

  • **Magic Creation**: Increased the creation limit for magic items to **99** and removed placement restrictions.
  • **Cross-Region Decoration**: Allows animal pen items to be placed in the Room of Requirement (RoR) and vice versa.
  • **Appearance Customization**: Allows **recolor** and **resizing** of almost any item.
  • **Pen Management**: Changed the cap for animals in the pen to **99** and **13 species** (although the active list does not scroll, more than 12 animals are allowed).
  • **Production Optimization**:
  • The output of all potions is changed to **2 copies**, and the brewing time is shortened to **30 seconds**.
  • The growth time of all plants is reduced to **2 minutes**, and the output of most plants is changed to **5 units** (tentacle grass yields 2 units, mandrake and cabbage yield 1 unit).
  • The output of all beasts has been changed to **5 copies**.

**Custom settings V2**

Here's a more lightweight version that focuses on the core creative freedom:

  • Removed restrictions on placement of magic items.
  • Increased magic item creation limit to **99**.

**💡 Custom request service**

The mod author accepts everyone’s customization needs!

  • The completed custom request file will be uploaded to the "Optional Files" section of the "Files" tab, along with the requester's username.
  • **Suggestion**: Before making a new request, check the existing custom files. The function you want may have been mentioned by someone!

📥 Installation Guide

  • Unzip the downloaded **V1** or **V2** compressed package.
  • Drag and drop the unzipped folder into your Mods folder:

`C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods`

  • If the `~mods` folder does not exist, please create one manually (**remember to include the `~` symbol**).
  • **Important**: When copying to the Mods folder, **only one of V1 or V2 can be selected, not both at the same time**.

---

⚠️ Compatibility Notes

If you have other mods installed that modify `PhoenixShipData.sqlite` (Hogwarts Legacy's database file), you will need to merge them using the Hogwarts Mod Merger tool to avoid conflicts.

🛠️ About custom requests

The author said he would be happy to try adjusting other settings in the game!

  • **Scope**: It can be anything that already exists in the basics of the game, such as: spell cooldown time, Room of Requirement related settings, etc.
  • **Principle**: These modifications are mainly achieved by searching the game database file and changing the values. Although not complicated, it takes time to figure out the corresponding labels and values to achieve the desired effect.
  • **Warm Reminder**: Please be patient with all adjustments requests, the author will try his best to research them when he has time.

I hope this mod will make your journey into the magical world more enjoyable! 🚀

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
