This mod allows you to talk to NPCs in the world of Hogwarts Legacy. Simply press F7 to talk to your favorite characters and invite them to join your adventure. If you want to modify a character's style, voice, or memory, you can easily create your own version of the character through the Convai platform.

🚀 Core functions

• **Real-time voice dialogue**: Press the **F7** key to speak directly to the NPC in front of you, and they will respond to you with voice and lip synchronization!
• **Text Input Dialog**: Love typing? Press the **F6** key, type what you want to say, and press Enter to start the conversation.
• **Smart Companion System**: NPC can perform various actions according to your instructions, such as:
• Become your companion and follow you on your adventures.
• Stop or resume following at a designated location.
• Move to a specific location.
• **Extensive character support**: The module supports all characters that can become companions, a total of about **80** Different characters are waiting for you to interact!
• **Deep Customization**: You can completely customize the character's voice, background story, personality, catchphrase and other details through the Convai platform.

📥 Module Installation Guide

• **Unzip the file**: Unzip the downloaded file, find and copy the `Phoenix` folder.
• **Paste Folder**: Paste the `Phoenix` folder into your game installation directory (for example: `C:\Program Files\Epic Games\HogwartsLegacy`).
• **Get the main program**: Depending on the version you installed, get the `main.exe` file from the provided Google Drive link.
• **Place the main program**: Copy `main.exe` to the `...\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64\convai` directory.
• **Register an account**: Visit Convai official website to create a free account.
• **Get API Key**: After logging in, click the key icon in the navigation bar in the upper right corner of the website to copy your API key.
• **Configure Key**: Open the `...\convai\api_key.txt` file with Notepad, paste your API key and save it.
• **Start the game**: After completing the above steps, start "Hogwarts Legacy".

🎮 How to use the mod

• **Enable Microphone**: Make sure your microphone is enabled in Windows settings.
• **Get close to the character**: Walk near the character you want to interact with.
• **Start conversation**:
• Press **F7**, wait for one second and then start speaking (voice mode).
• Or press **F6**, enter the conversation content and press Enter (text mode).
• **Receive Responses**: Characters will respond to you via audio, lip sync, and subtitles.
• **Issuing Commands**: Try to make characters become your companions, or command them to perform other actions.

🛠️ Custom character details

Want to create a unique companion? Follow these steps:

• **Locate configuration file**: Find the file `...\Mods\ConvaiMod\Scripts\main.lua`. Scroll to the bottom of the file and you'll see a dictionary containing character names and IDs.
• **Access console**: Log in to the Convai console.
• **Create New Character**: Click "Create New Character" and set the character's voice, background, personality, etc. according to your preferences.
• **Copy Role ID**: After creation, find and copy the ID of the role in the role description section.
• **Replace ID**: Go back to the `main.lua` file, paste the copied ID into the entry corresponding to the game character, and replace the original ID.
