CHR MagicReshade Preset
✨ **Welcome to my Hogwarts Legacy Reshade presets! **Have you ever felt that the graphics in this game were a little gray, washed out, and lacking in life? It's time to change all that!
---
🎨 About Shaders
I used Depth of Field (DOF), HDR Glow, Dehaze, Clarity and a slight sharpening effect. You are free to adjust it according to your own preferences.
**My graphics settings reference:**
- **Resolution:** 5160x2160
- **Quality:** All options set to "Ultra High"
- **OFF:** Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain
- **ON:** DLSS quality mode with all ray tracing options set to "Ultra High"
- **Off:** Frame Generation (DLSS3) as Reshade seems to be incompatible with it and will cause the game to crash
⚠️ **PLEASE NOTE:** This preset is optimized for the above resolutions and graphics settings. If you're running at a lower resolution (such as **1080p**), you may encounter issues such as over-sharpening, excessive blur, or white lines.

📥 Installation Guide
- **Download Reshade:** Download the latest version of Reshade from the official website reshade.me.
- **Install Shaders:** While installing, click the "**Unselect All**" button twice to install **all** shaders.
- **Place the preset file:** Download and unzip this preset file, and put it into the main game folder (that is, the directory where the `.exe` file is located).
- **Start the game:** Run the game and press the "**Home**" key to call out the Reshade interface. You can skip the tutorial.
- **Select a preset:** Select this preset in the drop-down bar at the top of the interface, and then click "**Select**".
- **Enjoy the magic! ** If you like it, don’t forget to like and support!
**💡 Troubleshooting:**
If you see black dots or stripes in the in-game menu or map, please press the "Home" key to open the Reshade interface. Under the "**Add-ons**" tab, find the "Depth Buffer" section and check an option consisting of a long string of numbers and letters (for example: `000000ex000bc45rg`).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
