About this mod Machine translation

Costumes for young witches that match the game's worldview and era (with a touch of fantasy).

Back to the party of the 1890s 🎩

**Disclaimer:** My goal is not 100% historical accuracy as I only use in-game models. My goal was to create costumes that fit the world of the game, were as immersive, and as accurate (with a hint of fantasy) as possible, using what I had available!

🏫 School uniform

In the 1890s, 15-year-old girls typically wore long skirts that reached their ankles (or just above them). Since Natty, Poppy, and the other girls in our class are all wearing long skirts (or bloomers), let's not stand out too much, okay?

  • Replaced all "short" skirts and some pants with **long skirts**.
  • I kept some **Knickerbockers** as they actually fit the period (albeit very rare) and were more practical for riding a broomstick.

*All outfits are paired with **boots**! Again, this is more practical, but more importantly, this appears to be the official footwear for Hogwarts students.

  • Recolored **Traditional School Uniforms** and **Checked School Uniforms** to match NPCs (since v2.0).

**2 versions available:**

  • School uniform (A) - with boots
  • School Uniform (B) - Comes with original shoes (except the plaid school uniform, which retains the boots to match NPCs)
  • ~~School Uniform (C) - Only skirt with original shoes~~ *(future plan)*

🧹 Cycling Clothing

It's **1890**, dear. Ladies don't wear those tights, and neither do witches!

**3 versions available:**

  • long skirt
  • Bloomers + Boots
  • Bloomers + High Boots

🎭 Socialite Outfits

Want to wear a nice jacket and skirt for a more ladylike look? (Probably still too casual for a dinner party, but at least it doesn’t look like pajamas.)

🎀 Other miscellaneous clothing

  • Replaced short skirts or pants with long skirts.
  • **Sara's Outfit**: Replaces the "Auburn Mottled Outfit", inspired by Sara Howard in Alien.
  • **Broomsuit**: Replaces the "Slate Jumpsuit", inspired by 1890s cycling jerseys.
  • **Rosalind's Outfit**: Replaces "Villain Outfit" and "Stylish Dress Robe", inspired by Rosalind Lutece from Bioshock Infinite.
  • **NEW BLACK COAT**: Replaces "Hickory Striped Robe".

⚠️ **NOTE**: You will not be able to wear a coat/robe/poncho over the "Auburn Outfit" and "Slate Jumpsuit" because the jacket I used technically counts as a coat and is included in the outfit.

The Broomstick Suit ("Slate Bodysuit") and Rosalind's Outfit ("Villain Outfit") change colors depending on your house! :)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
