Disable health auto-regeneration outside of combat
Automatic recovery without health
Hello! 👋
Even on Hard difficulty, after a certain point in the game you may find that you have more healing potions than you know what to do with.
To make these potions more useful, I made this mod to disable the player's health auto-regeneration.
---
✨ Module function
- **Core Mechanic**: Your health will no longer automatically regenerate outside of combat.
- **Design Purpose**: Improve the practicality and strategic value of healing potions and make resource management more challenging.
- **Compatibility**: Folder structure updated to be compatible with Vortex Mod Manager.
📝 Update log
**Version 1.1**
- Updated folder structure to work properly in Vortex Mod Manager.
**Version 1.0**
*Basic version, removes the automatic recovery of health outside combat.
⚠️ Known limitations
- **Reload/Fast Travel**: Reloading the game or using fast travel will reset health to maximum.
- *(Author's Note: This may not be a bad thing, after all we don't want the player to be stuck somewhere with no health. Even in Elden Circle, health is restored!)*

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
