InfiniDD
InfiniDD is a practice module for experimenting with infinite Death Defiance behavior.
Part of the Speedrun modpack.
What It Does
When enabled, lethal hits trigger a fake Death Defiance after all real Death Defiances are gone.
The recovery amount is configurable. By default, practice Death Defiances restore 40% health and magick, matching the base game Death Defiance recovery.
A right-side overlay counts practice Death Defiances used in the current run.
Optionally, a practice Death Defiance can slow the player, enemies, projectiles, and world objects for a short duration after the base Death Defiance sequence finishes.
Installation
Install via r2modman.
This module is usually installed as part of the full Speedrun modpack, where it appears in the shared Speedrun UI with the other speedrun-focused modules.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. Hades II uses the game's built-in mod import — unzip the pack and place it where the readme says.
