✨ Module Features

This mod will randomize certain parts of the game every time you start a new game, allowing you to experience Hades II in a completely different way than the original game!

⚠️ **Important Reminder**: Please **disable** the "Transfer Data" setting in the Hades settings menu! Supergiant Games uses this data for balance adjustments, and randomized mods can completely mess up the game balance, making this data useless to developers.

🎲 Randomized content

  • **Enemy Randomization**: Enemies, elite enemies and mini-bosses will all be randomized. This means you might encounter enemies from the Mourning Fields in Erebos, or even surface enemies in Hell!
  • **Favor Randomization**: Favors/offerings provided by the gods will be randomized. For example, Poseidon might offer Aphrodite or Demeter upgrades instead of the usual Poseidon favor. Favors are only randomized at the beginning of the game, so the same god will continue to provide the same Favors throughout the game until you start a new game.
  • **Elemental Properties Randomization**: The elemental properties (water, fire, etc.) provided by the gods will be randomized. This affects how you handle the infusion of divine grace.
  • **talisman randomization**: The talisman you start the game with is randomized and re-randomized each time you enter a new biome, locking your ability to change talismans. The randomized talisman can be any talisman in the game, including ones you haven't unlocked yet.
  • **Weapon Randomization**: The weapon you start the game with will be randomized. This can be any weapon in the game, including ones you haven't unlocked yet.
  • **Weapon Form Randomization**: The weapon form will be randomized when you start the game. This can be any form of the weapon you choose, including ones you haven't unlocked yet.
  • **Tarot Randomization**: Tarot cards are randomly equipped or unloaded at the start of the game based on the odds in the configuration. Only cards you've unlocked will be changed.

Some features are disabled by default and can be enabled in the configuration file.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. Hades II uses the game's built-in mod import — unzip the pack and place it where the readme says.
