Arcana QOL
A Hades II mod that provides Quality of Life improvements for Arcana cards.
Current Features
The Queen - Relaxed Requirements
The Queen (Persephone) arcana card has an automatic equip requirement based on how many arcana cards with the same cost you have equipped.
Vanilla Behavior
- The Queen auto-unequips if you have 3 or more cards with the same cost
With This Mod
- The Queen auto-unequips only if you have 4 or more cards with the same cost
- Allows you to equip 3 cards with the same cost while keeping The Queen active
- In-game description is automatically updated to show the correct number
Technical Details
- Arcana Card: The Queen (BonusRarity)
- Modified Values:
- AutoEquipRequirements.MaxDuplicateCount changed from 2 to 3
- AutoEquipText updated to display the new requirement in-game
- Effect: The card's trait (Duo Rarity Boost) benefits from having more card flexibility

- etc.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide. Hades II uses the game's built-in mod import — unzip the pack and place it where the readme says.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
