Wunderwaffe DG2 -- "Ethereal" NEXOTIC
Vanguard went the safe route when it came to the Wunderwaffe. Granted, they made bad decisions with their zombies series, so I don't blame them...
But after seeing the Raygun undergo changes and sequels, they should've done the same with the DG2, right?
Here we are. A wunderweapon "skin". I've been stretching that term a lot, but this takes the cake.
Sources
This model in particular was a mashup of recent zombies history, mesh and tex alike, initially created and rendered by Sal. on the Rectangular Discord. He was kind enough to lend me his assets to bring to the world of H3VR, so thank you man!
Updates
V0.0.1 -- This is the initial launch of the DG2. There are issues with it. I have plans to upgrade and develop it further. However, for those that want to use, feel free to use it.
v0.0.2 -- Fixed an annoying easy to miss oversight, Rift users are now able to use this gun.
V1.0.0 -- This is a more appropriate variant of the Wunderwaffe. Still a bit fuzzed about how to tackle the real deal, but we'll see... And even then, I'll still prefer this version, it looks too damn cool!!
Fixed overdramatic FX on the barrel. Fixed ammo palming issue. The round's damage will perform more closer to the source material. Fixed handle lockup issue (had the shotty pump-to-auto switch enabled, thats what caused it).
Its almost that one year anniversary, the Ray Gun was launched Christmas of last year, and I think I got the right stuff to celebrate my most downloaded mod's birthday~
V1.1.0 -- Reimagined with Parallax.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
