The Essentials

All the essential mods you need for the best H3VR experience!

Devyndamonster:

  • Otherloader: system for loading items into the game
  • Magazine Patcher: Allows for modded magazines to spawn in T&H
  • Grapple Tweaks: ~~Allows you to switch the grapple gun to an alternate mode allowing for swinging and hanging. Press the "Pull" button while the grapple is fully retracted to activate.~~

WFIOST

  • H3VRUtils: A code library used in many mods

Andrew_FTW

  • AFCL: A code library used in a multiple mods

CityRobo

  • Better Grappling Gun: Allows you to configure the grapple gun to your liking, aswell as adding infinite range
  • Spectator Preconfigurator: Saves spectator camera settings between sessions
  • Backpack Harness Enabler: Allows you to interact with a backpack that is harnessed on your back
  • OpenScripts 1 & 2: A large code library and its successor used in many mods.

MaiqTheDude

  • Better hands: A much more fluid and capable version of mag palming. You can turn on individual round palming in the config settings
  • Portable Item Spawner: ~~adds a the ability to spawn a portable item spawner using your wrist menu~~

Shampoo

  • Better Bullet Cracks: changes the bullet crack sounds to one that is more realistic
  • Alternate Woosh: changes the falling sound to one that is more high pitched and realistic

Potatoes

  • Potatoes Soup: Adds numerous quality of life improvements to the game, configurable via the config menu

AshHat

  • Wristimate: Tarkov style magazine checking

Nrgill28

  • Atlas: allows for custom maps and gamemodes
  • Wurstmod: Allows for custom T&H maps to work

Blockbuilder

  • LSIIC: adds various modding tools such as better handheld cameras, and a mod panel to modify guns and other items

Ax (Sock)

  • EscapeFrame SaveSystem: ~~Allows the player to save both entire scenes, and player loadouts using the "save/load" panel found on the wrist.~~

OsaPL

  • SosigRipper: Allows the player to engage in hand to hand combat with sosigs by grabbing them when they are alerted.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
