Swiss K31
Beer keg rifles
About this mod Author’s original text
Karabiner Modell 1931 (K-31)
The Karabiner Modell 1931 or the K31, is a Swiss straight pull carbine chambered in the 7.5x55mm Swiss cartridge, the rifle was made for Swiss terrain and doctrine in mind.
The K31 remained in frontline service until it began to be replaced by the Stgw 57 in the late 50s, but it was known as one of the premier straight pull rifle.
The mod comes with 3 different variants, standard K31 without the scope, K31/42 with its awfully x1.8 scope and the more known variant the K31/43 with a much better magnification.
The rifle is also known for its beer keg style bolt handle and safety hook, to switch between safe and fire, grab the hook and twist it to switch between fire mode. There is also a safety lock when it is on safe to prevent cycling (It is a bit wonky but I am sorry if you can yank it hard enough to eject a round)
Otherwise, unique to the mod is a clip removal system, empty clip ejects easier than full or half clip, so push hard!

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
