About this mod Author’s original text

Not the most elegant looking machine gun of WW1, but definitely one of the most successful ones. The Madsen light machine gun has seen adoption in a number of countries, including Britain, France, Argentina, Bulgaria, Brazil, Finland, Portugal, and a lot more. This variant is based on a Portuguese contract model, firing.30-06 cartridge.

It comes with its own bipod with no height adjustment. tap trigger at the bipod swivel to deploy. It won't swing and follow ground like most bipods currently in the game, instead will be fixed at its own angle.

Dust cover opens automatically when you charge the weapon. Dry fire to close the bolt and then you can manually close the dust cover.

Historical information can be found at the spawn table.

REQUIRES H3VR UTILITIES AND ITS DEPENDENCIES. The gun will probably function without it, but the visual animations will all be broken.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
