The Call of Duty rendition of the Steyr HS.50

About this mod Author’s original text

KATT-AMR (Steyr HS.50)

The Call of Duty rendition of the chunky Steyr HS.50 Caliber Anti Material Rifle.

Simplistic in its design, this big.50 cal takes 2 type of magazines, a 5 round and a 7 round, to reflect its Coddiness.

There are rails everywhere on this thing, even at the bottom one that is hidden if you want to run a grip.

The magazine insertion is on the side.

I added the ability to load in a Dushka round, as claimed by some of the sources from Middle East where some of the rifles were converted to fire the 12.7 round. Be warned though, for some reason it can be quite janky because the ammo itself was never used in any weapon in H3.

Features

  • An American/Scottish made Anti Material Rifle (Thank you CoD for weirdifying such a simple gun)
  • Bolt action operation
  • 2 magazines of 5 and 7 rounds of 50 BMG
  • Integrated bipod
  • Hidden picatinny rail below
  • No quickbolting allowed:(

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
