Hunt: Showdown Avtomat

The Avtomat chambered in 7.62x54mmR from Hunt: Showdown! Accepts clips and individual rounds like the vanilla version. I wasn't completely sure how to implement this since the gun is a bit odd. I opted to making it have two fire modes, default is three round burst and the secondary is full auto at the correct rounds per minute. Only holds 15 rounds so I hope you like stripper clips.

I added some quality of life improvements to make this a bit more useful and less annoying to use. The bolt can be locked back with a bolt catch, the bolt opens on last round, and loading a clip on a closed bolt will automatically open it similar to a C96. None of these things are accurate but it seemed very cumbersome to use without it.

Features

  • Tweaked and custom sounds - Expect improvement updates
  • The sights... exist? Probably shouldn't be in features
  • Suppressor mount
  • Two fire modes, 3 round burst and full auto, no safety since safety wasn't invented yet. Single shots can be fired with care.
  • Clips can be fed directly into a closed bolt to pop the bolt open while quickly reloading. Topping off rounds with a clip will eject a round.
  • 15 rounds that can get chewed up pretty fast, but I'd say that's pretty accurate to Hunt

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
