Elite Raptorstrike
Oh man... This is the blaster that turned me into a hobbyist. The days where I would enter and exit Walmart, Toys R Us, and Target only to come out empty handed... Yeah, I had time back then. And no debit card. So no preordering like a smart person would.
The Raptorstrike, if I had to explain it, has the profile that can outcompete military sniper rifles in terms of cool design. I first saw it in the 2017 New York Toy Fair videos Coop and Drac were posting on YouTube, and between then and 2018 was when some of the coolest designs were brought to life.
I skipped making it an Xmas present and got the Raptorstrike for myself, and it's on of the few blasters that I don't keep in a crate. It sits in the corner of my room as a distraction while I work on H3VR mods.
The model I have here, it's so close to the real deal that it baffles me to this day. Where the Centurion hits 90% and is still a bombshell of a virtual blaster, this hits the 100 mark.
So I hope anyone who picks this up can see what I mean when I say this is one of the blasters... of all time!
Sources and Credits
Assets come from the game Nerf Legends, I remember this for certain because the higher fidelity textures don't exist for Superblast.
Thank you Miss Maya for providing raw audio of your Raptorstrike to help with this project! I still appreciate it, all these months later!
Updates
V1.0.1 -- So because I use an external SSD I gots to be real careful about not nudging it, otherwise my Unity Project crashes and my shit needs to reimport. When Unity reimports, Alloy textures can corrupt if done through the material map channel packer (the classic one, not Cityrobo's thank god). This blaster's alloy texture got corrupted, so this update should fix it.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
