AsG LightBowgun
Bad idea made modifest. Monster Hunter bowguns!
About this mod Author’s original text
Monster Hunter Bowguns
This mod has been a very stupid idea I came up with some time ago. Originally I wanted to make a functioning gunlance from Monster Hunter as a gun in H3 but the models from World are not really... lets say "functionally designed". I still may come back to that idea in some capacity. But here is a mod with bowguns instead for the time being.
In case of any issues I can be reached on Discord as asg_alligator.
Contents
Mod currently contains 4 base bowguns - 2 of the light variety, one steel and one bone and 2 of the heavy veriaty with the same 2 material variants.
Light bowguns can fire single shots or 3 round bursts and have access to fancy big-ass suppressors.
Heavy bowguns can mount a dubiously effective gun shield on them and can fire semi or full auto.
The bowguns are set to be chambered for a custom powerful 24mm bowgun cartridge with fancy leather casings and 4 flavors of ammo - Normal (FMJ), Piercing (AP), Spread (Buckshot) and Flaming (Incendiary).
I have some currently unused feature creep content that I may add later on (stuff like custom sights if i manage to figure out how to make em, attachable monster parts or swappable skins for bowguns and their attachments).
Changelog
Version 1.0.1 - updated readme
Version 1.0.2 - removed mesh colliders from plane primitives (thanks Unity)
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
