IDGAFMan
Play Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone with built-in cheats and keep your personal scores.
What it changes
- Every cheat is unlocked from the start. The settings menu no longer locks cheat entries behind clearing a contract without cheats first.
- Two labels are rewritten: the cheat tab warning becomes "Even though you can gain score and achievements, your score won't be published to steam leaderboards with this mod.", and the results screen's "No Damage Bonus" becomes "Bonus for being Sexy" (it survives hits under this mod, so the stock name was a lie). BepInEx edition only; the standalone edition keeps the original wording.
- Results screen: every former deduction row - civilians killed, hits taken, checkpoints loaded, slow motion - drops its "- 0 PTS" column and shows its own count or time in the value column, in the same white label and yellow value styling as the bonus rows above. The pistol bonus is relabelled "Special Bonus, just for you <3". BepInEx edition only, since those colours and columns live in the scene rather than in the game's code.
- Active cheats no longer block personal high-score saving or earned achievement/unlock progress.
- Hits taken, checkpoint retries, slow motion and civilian kills all deduct zero points, and a run is never flagged as auto-aimed, so the 0.5x auto-aim penalty never applies. No score deduction is left.
- Every weapon can receive the existing pistol multiplier in modes that enable it.
- Taking hits no longer removes no-damage bonus eligibility; the game's existing bonus calculation is preserved.
- Steam leaderboard uploads are blocked outright: all four code paths that start a Steam score submission return before they can send anything, so modified scores never reach the public board. Personal bests, achievements and unlock progress still save normally on your PC.
- Modded runs keep their own high-score file, SaveData_Highscores_IDGAFMan.json, encrypted with a key the stock game does not have. The stock SaveData_Highscores.json is never read or written while the mod is active, so uninstalling leaves the unmodified game holding its own scores with nothing inflated to upload. BepInEx edition only.
- The game's own mod check keeps working. It sees BepInEx, shows its mod warning by the leaderboard, draws your leaderboard row in its modded style and drops Steam uploads while the loader is present.
- The flag it saves with each score is inverted, so a score saved while modded would become uploadable after uninstalling. The separate save file covers that.
Cheats still work normally. Hit/retry/time counters, accuracy and difficulty multipliers keep their existing behavior. Achievements still require normal gameplay triggers.
Requirements
- Windows x64, Gunman Contracts – Stand Alone.
- BepInExPack IL2CPP 6.0.755 (BepInEx 6 build 755, the compile target), or a compatible later build. BepInEx 5 and Mono builds are not suitable.
- Built for Unity 6000.0.41f1. The mod editions find every patch site by signature when the game starts: IL2CPP names the method, and a byte pattern must match exactly once inside it. Game updates that leave those few instructions alone keep working without a new release; if one changes, nothing is patched and the log names the signature.
Install
With a mod manager (r2modman or the Mod Manager): pick Gunman Contracts - Stand Alone, install IDGAFMan, and launch the game through the manager. It installs BepInExPack IL2CPP for you.
By hand:
- Install BepInEx 6 Unity IL2CPP, Windows x64 following its installation guide.
- Copy IDGAFMan.dll into BepInEx/plugins/IDGAFMan/ beneath the game folder. Alternatively, extract this archive's BepInEx folder into the game folder.
- Launch the game. Check BepInEx/LogOutput.log for IDGAFMan enabled.
Only the plugin DLL is needed. Patch data is embedded. No installer, external patch file or game DLL replacement is required for this edition.
Uninstall and compatibility
Close the game and remove IDGAFMan.dll,
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
