WaveRoarFix
Enables the unused Snatcher, Immortal, Nightmare Striker, and Nightmare Shooter distant wave roars
About this mod Author’s original text
WaveRoarFix
- Replaces the distant roar sounds for Snatchers, Pablo/Immortal, Nightmare Strikers, and Nightmare Shooters.
- Also fixes the wave roars for Megamom (uses Birther's), Nightmare Giant and Nightmare Baby (uses Nightmare Striker's), and Nightmare Scouts (uses Nightmare Shooter's).
- Note that WaveRoarFix is also incorporated into EEC and will disable itself if EEC is installed in the same profile! Rundown devs can enable auto-adding the vanilla wave roars from WaveRoarFix in EEC by setting WaveRoarFix.AutoAddUnused in the Global config to true.
- Both host and clients need to have this plugin installed, otherwise incorrect wave roar sounds may play.
Changelog
v1.0.3
- Replaced the coroutine to recycle the cell sound player with AKCallback.
v1.0.2
- WaveRoarFix will now use the enemy name instead of enemy ID to ensure better compatiblility with modded rundowns. So don't change the enemy names in EnemyDB!
v1.0.1
- Added Nightmare Scouts to use Nightmare Shooter's wave roar.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
