Quixotic is a rundown I made for my friends featuring what I consider to be some of my favorite aspects of vanilla and modded GTFO. It currently features 13 playable expeditions with more planned! Each level I pushed myself to learn new things and introduce new ideas. You can expect custom alarms, tiles, enemies, and an original story--all tuned to be something that might've fit into the vanilla game. This rundown has a little something for everyone! I am bound to have skill issues, so please feel free to leave feedback (and share your vods).
The obstacles you face are like a puzzle; your actions and objectives have consequences that will impact later levels. This rundown isn't meant to be hardcore to gatekeep players, but it also isn't meant to be super easy either. Think fair, but challenging. If you ever feel stuck, strategize and try a different approach! There just might be an alternative path. Sometimes. Please keep in mind that Quixotic is balanced around a full team of four. Most of the levels can be completed with less than four players… however, expect some impasses and difficulty spikes if so.
One last thing, I highly recommend downloading the AmorPack, which contains many essential bug fixes and QoL mods!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
