About this mod Machine translation

V1.0.1

Sorry, there's a nasty bug in the Load method.

NOTE: For developers only!

Pure players please move on. There's not much to see here.

XMLIO is a .net library written in C# for saving and loading data containers (even with nested containers) to and from XML files. It makes working with XML data in your projects a breeze (see picture) since you don't need to care about the XML structure.

I've been using XMLIO for years, since I started developing mods for GTA IV.

important

XMLIO leverages WCF data contracts under the hood and therefore creates and expects the w3.org standardized XML layout (see the XML header lines in the image). This means that you cannot read XML files of any kind, only files created by XMLIO or XML files that conform to the above standards.

There are two types of XMLIO, available for any CPU or explicitly for x64 (use the latter for GTA V mods). Intellisense is fully documented by all public members.

Includes help in .chm format and MSHelp 2.0.

This download includes a detailed PDF guide with all the information you need, including several examples.

You need .net Framework 4.5.2.

Oh, I almost forgot: you need to reference Cyron43 as a namespace (use Cyron43;)

Copyright Cyron43 (aka Osmone Everony). You may not upload this library as your own work, but you are free to integrate it into your project.

XMLIO is a.net library, written in C#, for saving and loading data containers (even with nested containers) to/from XML files. It makes handling XML data in your project a piece of cake (look at the picture) as you don't need to care for the XML structure.

I use XMLIO for many years even since before I started developing mods for GTA IV.

Important

XMLIO utilizes the WCF Data Contract under the hood and therefore creates and expects a w3.org standardized XML layout (look at the XML header line in the picture). That means you can NOT read any kind of XML files, just the ones created by XMLIO or XML files which comply to the aforementioned standard.

XMLIO comes in two flavors, for any CPU or explicitly for x64 (use the latter for GTA V mods). All public members are fully documented for Intellisense.

Includes help in.chm format and also for MSHelp 2.0.

This download includes a detailed PDF guide with all information you need, including several samples.

You need.net Framework 4.5.2.

Oh I almost forgot: you need to reference Cyron43 as namespace (using Cyron43;)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
