About this mod Machine translation
The Farming Project aims to bring new life to San Andreas by bringing farming life into the game.
To start your journey as a farmer, you need to purchase a field. The first one is located in the grape seeds. You will see a blip on the map.
When you purchase your first field, you also receive a tractor, a Rake Trailer, and a Grain Trailer. If you "lost" them, you can always restore them on the red marker.
Attach the Rake Trailer to your tractor and run over the white markers to cultivate and plant fields.
After a few hours of grain ripening, use a grain trailer to harvest the field.
Drive the trailer to one of the unloading stations where you can receive payment for your crops.
The Farming Project is my largest model to date. I'd like to see this develop into something great, even if it's a little late for the modding community.
If you want to help with this project, and you have experience with C#, and you like modding, you can contact me through gtaforums to join me.
have fun!
Future plans:
- Harvest more crops with realistic visual representation of each crop
- Ability to purchase animals
- More agricultural vehicles and tools
- More areas to buy
- Average "farming simulator" experience
Install:
Place FarmingProject.dll into the "Scripts" folder.
Require:
Script Hook V (tested with 1.0.1493.0)
Script Hook V.NET (tested with 2.10.7)
NativeUI 1.7
(Test game version: Build: 1290, Online 1.42)
limit:
- Since there are no actual harvesters in the game, I had to think of different ways to harvest crops, which is why I used the Rake Trailer.
- The only crops I found in the prop database that actually looked like crops were the saplings you see in the screenshot. They are not wheat or canola, but they do the job now.
- The Filled Cereal trailer won't show anything in it, but you will see a "Fill Amount" bar on the left side of the screen.
Update log:
1.1
- You can now buy more seeds/grains from the Grain Shop (blip added to the map)
- Added new seeds: Rapeseed, Pumpkin, Cabbage, Weed
- Each crop has its own growing time and sales value
- Selling weed may attract the police!
- Use Rake Trailer to consume seeds. (You can refill from the store)
- Improved message UI when purchasing fields
- Increase on-site work area
- Added sound effects on menu
- Bug fixes
1.0
- Initial release.
Known issues:
- If you have a newer version of the game than 1.40 sometimes if you try to sell your crops it will show you have a large amount of money, like 4 million plus... that's because R*patches the way you get money from mods. I haven't found a solution yet.
- After a long game time, planted crops or white circles may disappear from the fields. Reloading the mod using the "insert" key now resolves the issue.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
