About this mod Machine translation
Overview:
Stop Reverse and Brake is a script that does exactly what its name implies. This script allows you to continue to hold the brake/reverse button while parking without worrying about the vehicle reversing and hitting the vehicle behind you. Instead, as long as you hold the brake, the car will come to a stop. To reverse, all you need to do is release the brake and then hold it again. If reversed, the accelerator acts as a brake. Once stopped, all you need to do is release the accelerator and press it again to keep going. This script also adds automatic brake lights if you stop without using the brake/reverse buttons and controller support.
Require:
-.NET Framework 4.5.2 (or higher)
- Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013 (x64)
- Script Hook V.
- ScriptHookVDotNet
Install:
- Copy "Stop reversing in Braking.dll" into the "GTA V\Scripts" folder
- Copy "SRWB.ini" to the "GTA V\Scripts\" folder (If updating from an older version, check the change log to see if any changes were made to the configuration file. If not, you don't need to do this step.)
Update log:
V1.3:
- Added configuration file
- Change "disableUseAcceleratorAsBrake" to true to use the accelerator as brake when reversing
- Change "disableAutoBrakeLights" to true to remove automatic brake lights that turn on when stopped
V1.2:
- Fixed an issue where lightly pressing the brake while using the controller would cause the vehicle to reverse
- The reverse accelerator can now act as a brake.
V1.1:
- Change it so if the vehicle stops on its own and then you press the brake/reverse button it will reverse, instead of "locking" in place so that you have to release the brake and then hold it down
- Fixed a small bug
V1.0:
- Initial release

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
