Grand Theft Auto V seat belts

Seat belts allow for safe driving or chasing, once fastened you cannot leave the vehicle or be pulled/ejected.

A chime will play when driving without a seat belt fastened, and you can choose from up to 10 chimes and 4 fastening sounds. (Just set it in ini)

On top of that, there's a custom ejection system where you can pull hard on the belt, causing it to lock. Want high-speed fixing? I wouldn't do this if I were you, you could lose control of the vehicle, especially at highway speeds, so slow down to wear your seat belt safely.

Use the left CTRL or DPad up to secure or release the seat belt, you can customize these keys in settings.
