About this mod Machine translation
Version 1.0 adds an all-black version and new textures and specs thanks to 420x420. He is a texturing genius and managed to make this low quality model look pretty good.
Thanks to him, a scope version of the gun is also coming soon.
Version 1.5 fixes some minor bugs, makes more improvements to weapon textures, and adds a new Scoped version of the gun to replace the Marksman Rifle. Unfortunately, the new slightly improved model does not show the correct position of the flashlight or suppressor in the Rockstar Editor, but they are in the correct position during gameplay.
The Ruger 10-22 is a well-known semi-automatic 22 caliber rifle fed by a compact detachable 10 round rotary magazine. Hence the name 10-22.
Although it was designed in 1964 as a children's target/training rifle, it became popular among shooters and survivalists for its light weight, affordability, reliability, and superb accuracy.
In the real world, there's an endless supply of accessories for the 10-22, including high-capacity magazines, tactical stocks, and even fully automatic conversion parts for those willing to do the right paperwork.
The gun in this mod is fully automatic, and the vanilla weapon attachments have been correctly sized and repositioned so you can add scopes, flashlights, and extended magazines to the gun. There are also three textures available, standard dark blue gunmetal, stainless steel with wood stock and stainless steel with black polymer stock.
I replaced combat pdw because it sounds most like 22, and I've included the meta files to give the gun the appropriate damage, magazine size, recoil, range, and accuracy.
To find the models and awesome texture work, the credit goes up to 420x420. Model from the game No More Room In Hell.
Installation instructions are included in the readme file.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
