About this mod Machine translation
Simple mod designed to add physical "jet" effects to aircraft engines etc.
describe
This model is implemented by adding physical "jet" or "brace" effects to the aircraft in an attempt to make the experience of the aircraft more realistic. It exerts wind forces on AI, vehicles, and objects when they enter the engine's path. Just like in real life. The amount of power is dynamically controlled by the throttle (player), allowing the functionality to blend seamlessly with mechanics already present in the base game.
Main features
Physical force relative to engine throttle/thrust output
Reverse thrust detection
Engine throttle exhaust effect
Aircraft handbrake function
As you might imagine, this allows for some very fun scenarios to be played around the airport. It adds some character to plane heists and police chases, like scripted versions of the same effect as in campaign missions.
The script itself is very lightweight and designed with performance in mind. It is designed to be future-proof and fully backwards compatible with any game version greater than v1.0.350.1.
If you encounter a bug or other issue, please leave a comment describing the issue in detail so I can take the best steps to help you.
This script was made in response to a request from user TheSigui (sorry this took a long time, friend)

Installation steps
Drag Jetblast.DLL and Jetblast.INI into the scripts folder, which is located in the base game directory
Adjust the .INI file as needed
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
