About this mod Machine translation

Enhancements to the player movement system in the upcoming Realism 1.0.

I decided to release this after requests from people who saw it running, so this is a standalone system version that allows players to do the following.

By pressing the Jump key, the player can move in and out of corners.

The player can move from one cover to another by pressing Run.

Players can take cover from longer distances.

Players can jump higher, battle roll from higher heights and jump to ledges more easily.

Players can now jump onto walls without falling down easily.

Players can more easily protect objects such as cars.

There are other small adjustments to distances and other values for the various controls that are too minor to mention, a more comprehensive list will be made when I expand the new control system and decide if these small adjustments are worth describing.

Always my mods are 100% via file editing, no scripts, just simple native changes to the files for the Rage engine.

Install:

Open the archive.

Open OpenIV and select "Edit" mode. : Move the contents of update/update.rpf/x64/data/tune/ to the mods folder of mods/update/update.rpf/x64/data/tune/ in OpenIV

start your game

That's it.

Enjoy and be prepared for it

Enhanced AI (high-speed vehicle avoidance, sight-based collision detection, etc.)

Enhanced physics (proper body physics, world object mass and ragdoll overhaul)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
