Content introduction
This mod does not put snow on the ground and works whether it is snowing or not. To force snow on the ground, you need a Menyoo, either a trainer or a snow model.
This mod changes traction levels on all drivable surfaces in the game, making driving on snow feel more realistic and immersive. I have spent a lot of time testing and tuning this, every surface is different and I have provided 4 levels of surface traction for you to choose from.
1 Light Snow: This is smoother and more realistic than Rockstar's snow.
Major bug, indoor and underground areas not covered with snow will still act like snow.
2 Xiaoxue: Traveling quickly is a problem, but normal traffic can be handled well. This scene makes off-roading and snow rafting really fun.
There are no other errors.
3 Ice and Snow: This is the setting used in the screenshots and is the best balance of realism and playability. You will see the occasional traffic accident and a four-wheel drive or front-wheel drive vehicle is the best way to travel.
The only other flaw is that the Joker spins in an uncontrollable circle. Apparently it can't handle low traction and will break down.
Four Icy Roads: This road is the same as Route 3, but the paved road is as smooth as ice. It's hard to find anything other than 4x4, but it's fun to watch some AI cause accidents and trudge uphill like real people.
jester is still the only additional bug with setup 4.
