This mod brings the famous portal gun from the Rick & Morty series to GTAV! Use the heavy pistol to shoot the portal and hold T while shooting to shoot the portal. Based on the sound you hear, you will know if the portal has been created. Additionally, you can see if your shot is going to be hit if the crosshairs are white, or if the crosshairs are gray. Install
- If you haven't created a script folder in your GTAV game location yet, place the PortalGun.cs, PortalGunSetings.txt and PortalResources folders into it. My location is for example "D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Scripts"
- Using OpenIV, navigate to "update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf" and place the modified file there.
- Make sure you have downloaded the above and placed ScriptHookV.dll, dinput8.dll, OpenIV.asi and ScriptHookVDotNet.asi in your home directory.
- If the portal gun shoots bullets, go to Ammu-Nation and buy all the ammo for the "Heavy Pistol".
How to use
- Customize the settings file according to your own preferences.
- Use the heavy pistol to shoot for Portal A.
- Press and hold or press the T key to enter Portal B while shooting.
- For added fun, press Y to place the portal on the moon (high in the sky).
- Walk through it, or let others walk through it.
- Use E to grab entities to move them.
- Now you’re thinking about portals!

"T" - Fires the heavy pistol for Portal B/hold while pressed.
"E" - Grabs entities while targeting them.
"O" - Switch to long boots.
"I" - coaxed by the moon.
"K" - Teleport directly to the blue portal.
"L" - Teleport directly to the orange portal.
"B" - Spawns a random one two feet in front of you.
"Y" - spawns an orange portal on the moon (hold T for portal B)
