This ASI plugin doubles the number of packfiles (aka RPFs) the game can handle.
Please note that this plugin will only "fix" ERR_FIL_PACK_1 and nothing more. If you still get crashes, get a better gameconfig and install a heap limit adjuster.
Also, make sure to merge your DLC packs. Failure to do this is the most common cause of ERR_FIL_PACK_1.
Don't blame me if it doesn't help. I can't fix laziness.
Tip: Do not use online.
Installation method:
Install Script Hook V first:
Place "PackfileLimitAdjuster.asi" and "PackfileLimitAdjuster.ini" into the game directory

Please note that this plugin will only 'fix' ERR_FIL_PACK_1, nothing else. Get a better gameconfig and install the Heap Limit Adjuster if you still experience crashes.

Installation
Simply drop PackfileLimitAdjuster.asi and PackfileLimitAdjuster.ini into your Grand Theft Auto V folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
