About this mod Machine translation

Why?

Armor sucks on GTA V so I made this mod

What can it do?

In normal non-modal GTA V, there are 5 "levels" of armor:

The first one is 20 AP (Armor Points), the second one is 40 AP...

This mod adds Armor regeneration to your level's max AP

So when you buy level 3 (60AP) armor and take some damage (not completely loose) you will get 60AP (you can set at what time you respawn the armor in .ini)

When you use armor, you can still purchase higher levels of armor to change the maximum armor regeneration amount

degradation system

For example: I bought level 4 (80AP) armor, got a few shots in the chest and my AP is 30, which means I won't be back to my level max AP but 40AP (level 2 amount)

You can disable it in the INI

visible armor

For example: when you buy or spoof your armor to 80 AP (or 61AP if OldArmorUpgrade is disabled) (you can change it in the ini) the body armor will appear on the character's body and it will disappear until you loose your entire armor (which you can downgrade or buy better armor)

It saves the character's body armor visibility, so it works perfectly with character switching

You need to get a body armor model, which you can install with the OIV installer I included (you still need to download a body armor model (link is in the installer))

Or you can get it yourself (you can change the component or model id in the ini file)

You can disable it in the INI

mistake

  • When using visible armor, parameters used by the same component ID and other models are invisible

-you tell me

Change log

1.2: - Increased visible armor

  • Some INI changes
  • Minor bugs fixed

1.1: Fixed too many regenerating armor bugs

  • When you set the AP to a higher AP instead of the exact armor tier (1-10, 21-39, 41-59, 61-79, 81-99) you will get the next tier (should have no bugs I believe, but you can still use the INI to use the old one)

Example: I cheated on the armor (previously I had 20) and set it to 55, so my new armor tier is 3 (60AP)

  • Some INI changes

Any ideas? Use the comments section but I'm not saying I'd do dis (I'm too bad at "scripting" and this is my first GTA V mod)

Many thanks to JulioNib for his latency friendly scripting tutorial.

Also thanks to JediJosh920 for all the comments on his youtube channel LMAO

Why?

Armor sucks at GTA V so i made this mod

What it does?

In regular non modded GTA V there are 5 "tiers" of armor:

1st one is 20 AP(armor points), 2nd one is 40 AP...

This mod adds Armor regeneration to max AP of your tier

So when you buy tier 3 (60AP) armor and get some damage(not loose it completely) you are going to get 60AP back (you can set how much armor you regenerate in what time in.ini)

When you use armor you can still buy higher tier armor to change max armor regen amount

Degradation system

Example: I bought tier 4(80AP) armor, got couple shots in ma chest and my AP is 30, that means I am not going to regen back to my tier max AP but to 40AP(tier 2 amount)

You can disable that in INI

Visible armor

Example: When you buy or cheat your armor to 80 AP(or 61AP if OldArmorUpgrade is disabled) (you can change it in ini) the body armor will appear at character's body, it wont disappear until you loose your whole armor (you can use degradation or buy better armor, it wont disappear anyway)

It saves character's body armor visibility so it totally works with character switching

You need to get a body armor model, you can install it with my included OIV installer (you still need to download a body armor model (link is in the installer))

or you can just get it by yourself (you can change component or model id in the ini file)

You can disable that in INI

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
