Thank you very much for downloading the "Add Character Selector Mod", this mod allows GTA V players to add new characters/appearances into the game without replacing any files. Before starting to use this mod, there are some things you must pay attention to.

1.1 - Upgraded from 2.2 to 3.0

If you have previously installed the new character modifier version 2.2, then you do not need to reinstall the entire mod again. You only need to:

Drag and drop the new version of PedSelector.dll file in the compressed package to replace the old version of the file with the same name and use the new version of AddonPeds Editor.exe and AddonPedsVars.xml files (the main program of the new character modifier). Don't forget to delete the old version of the main program of the new character modifier.

The dlc.rpf file in the game directory/dlcpacks/addonpeds/ remains unchanged, and you do not need to modify it for upgrading.

But please pay attention to whether the dlclist.xml file already contains the guide line for the new character selector.

1.2 - If I upgrade to 3.0 will I lose the new characters I installed previously?

Don't worry, you won't lose it. The new Character Modifier 3.0 will automatically recognize all the characters you have installed.

1.3 - Where should I place/install the new character modifier?

The new character modifier 3.0 and the AddonPedsVars.xml file can be used in any partition/folder of your computer, but I strongly recommend that you put it in the game root directory.

1.4 - Hotkey Description

Enter the game and press the "L" key on the keyboard to open the new character selection menu.

1.5 - Never forget

Each time you add, modify or delete a new character you must click the "REBUILD" button.
