About this mod Machine translation

Mod description:

Tired of losing your 500k$ fully modified vehicle because you go on a mission and it disappears? Or because you wanted to see if it was waterproof and (unfortunately) it wasn't?

Don't wait any longer, insure your vehicle with Mors Mutual Insurance Company now!

Prerequisites:

ScriptHookV:

ScriptHookVDotNet2:

NativeUI:

iFruitAddon2:

SHVDN extender:

Install:

Install all prerequisites.

Create a folder named scripts in the GTA V home directory (the directory containing GTAV.exe).

Copy MMI-SP.dll and MMI folder to the script directory.

Finish!

This mod allows you to:

secure vehicle

If the vehicle is destroyed, restore it

"Report Vehicle Stolen" (The vehicles it spawns do not need to die. More expensive but useful when your vehicle disappears)

Cancellation of contract (cancellation of insurance from vehicle)

Have the restored vehicle brought to you (you can choose in the profile if you want it to be generated or if you want the driver to drive it to you)

hint:

To get the plane to you, you need to stand in front of a long empty road (airports are nice).

Planes always come out from behind you and try to land.

If you want the cost to be cheaper, you can edit the cost multiplier in the mod settings (call the phone contact "MMI-SP Settings")

translate:

The mod supports translation. Download the translation file and follow the readme file.

To make a new translation, you can use the file default.xml, which is the English file.

Make a copy of this file and translate it (note that the text may contain variables annotated with $NameOfTheVariable, do not change their names!).

How it works:

There is an MMI office on the map (marked by a red M) where you need to go to insure, report theft or cancel the contract, I have added a phone contact for you to recover your vehicle.

Configuration file:

You can now edit in-game configurations using your phone. Dial the contact "MMI-SP Settings".

renew:

When updating, you can only view a single file: db.xml (in the scripts\MMI directory).

It is the document that contains all insured vehicles.

I didn't include this file in my update so that you just overwrite everything.

troubleshooting:

If you have any problems, please check if the following parts are installed:

Latest version of ScriptHookV

Latest version of ScriptHookVDotNet

Latest version of NativeUI

Latest version of iFruitAddon2

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 x86 and x64 installed

Microsoft.NET Framework 4.7.1 or higher installed

Update log:

1.2.0(24/02/2018):

You can edit your profile in-game using your phone contacts! Unless otherwise stated, settings take effect immediately.

You can now change your license plate number! If you have this option enabled, go to your office or use your phone.

Wider selection of insurable vehicles. Pretty much everything except the trains and the main characters' vehicles.

Insuring vehicles is now persistent by default. They don't disappear until they die. This setting can be changed.

You can now select the available options (secure car, report as stolen, etc.) in the phone menu. Edit mods settings to enable selection.

The menu is a bit user-friendly (some choices disappear when needed instead of being grayed out).

The insurance icon now only appears on vehicles that can be insured.

Added codes related to helicopters and aircraft, as these vehicles can now be insured.

The log file (MMI-SP.log) is reset on startup.

Readjust prices. Remember, you can adjust the price using the mod settings.

Fixed an issue where the mod could crash if another mod produced a heavily shaped vehicle with tires or neon colors.

Fixed an issue where you could ask MMI to bring you another character’s vehicle under certain circumstances.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
