Note: Please remove the "addonpeds folder" in OPENIV first, and then add the new "pedselector folder" to OPENIV

V1.0.6 version update instructions

Version 1.0.6 adds a new in-game real-time menu key modification function! Simply enter the settings menu to reassign the shortcut key for calling the AddonPeds menu without restarting the game. This feature allows you to quickly adjust your controls during immersive gameplay.

Add in OPENIV's dlclist.xml:

Required components:

Script Hook V

Script Hook V.NET

LemonUI (SHVDN3 version)

PedSelector module

Step 1: Install Script Hook V

Download Script Hook V

Unzip the ZIP file

Copy dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll to the GTA V root directory (that is, where GTA5.exe is located)

Step 2: Install Script Hook V.NET

Download Script Hook V.NET

Unzip the ZIP file

Copy ScriptHookVDotNet.asi, ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll and ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll to the GTA V root directory

Step 3: Install LemonUI

Download LemonUI (SHVDN3 version)

Unzip the ZIP file

Place LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll into the scripts folder (please create a new one if it does not exist)

Step 4: Install PedSelector manually (via OpenIV)

Download PedSelector and unzip it

Turn on the "edit mode" of OpenIV and manually install the "pedselector" folder

Add "pedselector" to mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/

Manually edit dlclist.xml to add corresponding entries

Step 5: Add custom character model

Run AddonPedsEditor.exe as administrator

Add character model files (.ydd.ytd.ymt format) through tools

Set the character type (normal/male/female) and click Save

Step 6: Verify installation

Start GTA V

Use the setting shortcut key to call the AddonPeds menu to generate a character

If installed correctly, the new character model will successfully appear in the game

DLCLIST.XML automatic generator

This tool will automatically generate a new version of the dlclist.xml file:

Run the program to generate new dlclist.xml

Replace the old version of dlclist.xml with the new file

Make sure all DLC content is properly registered

troubleshooting

Game crashes?

Check that all required modules (ScriptHookV/ScriptHookV.NET/LemonUI) are installed correctly

Character not shown?

Confirm that the model file is stored in the correct specified path

Check whether the configuration in AddonPedsEditor is correct
