About this mod Machine translation
This GTAV image quality module comes from my personal hobby and understanding of the game. Its exploration and improvement took more than 34 months and was first released in March 2023. The module will completely redesign the Vanilla weather system and provide a variety of implementation methods for advanced simulated lighting.
Features:
- All weather (snow removal, thunderstorms) rewritten from scratch based on reality and parts of the game.
- High-quality ambient occlusion, bloom, reflection and other effects.
- Enhanced adaptive exposure effect.
- Redo materials such as halos and clouds.
- Higher quality shadows on the bottom of vehicles, no longer blocky.
- Provides multiple optional installations.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
