Mapped Bus [Replace | Template]

About this mod Machine translation
Brute's simply named Bus is definitely not rocket science. Driven by arrogant middle-aged "steering wheel experts" who will let you down if you don't get the right changes, Brute's buses are the backbone of any city's public transport network... that is, if anyone happens to use it. The Brute Bus can barely travel at 50 miles an hour and stay there, and offers completely inaccessible wheelchair spaces, ready to transport any city's youth-adult breakdowns while making some very strange noises from the engine.

Change log:
v1.0,1.0 04/06/2018 - Initial stable release, includes all vanilla and RTD-style liveries.
--------------------
I know you've been crying about this for a long time. Now you can finally have a properly templated vanilla bus. I've always wanted to see this happen, so with LeShark, I'm happy to deliver.
This is a mapped version of the Brute Bus from vanilla GTA V, UV mapped by LeShark. Starting with 1.0, it includes four uniform variants, all made by me, with decals provided by other users:
- Los Santos Transit (vanilla, RTD style),
- Airport shuttle rental (JiffiRent, Olympian)
Features include:
- Full uniform support; 4K templates available in archive.
- All basic vehicle features: broken glass, dirt mapping, all LODs, etc.

Install
For those unfamiliar with the simple process of installing replacement mods, the installation process is simple:
- Start OpenIV.
- Navigate to the 'mods' folder or create it in the GTA V folder if you don't have one.
- Go in, or copy x64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf into the 'mods' folder and replace the bus .yft and .ytd files with the ones provided in the download.
- If done correctly, the mod should be ready to use.

Known issues
There are some issues regarding the mapping of the front of the bus. Unfortunately, this prevented me from making an early 2000s-style Metro uniform, and the problem even stumped the uniform experts I asked to try and fix it. So remember to be careful when doing the liver around the front.
Some livers are not 100% accurate - see explanation above. I will try my best to solve the problem.
Glass is not mapped yet. Doing this removes the destructible windows element of the bus, even though it looks neat, so it decides that either there are no destructible windows or there are no mapped windows - so the whole liver is probably untenable. This also means that the LST coating is not 100% accurate, but it also means making window textures for all the other livers.
Any other bugs with the mod, please let me know in the comments. I will forward it to the appropriate user.

Life packaging information
Due to time complaints, constraints and declining enthusiasm I am unable to make more than four vehicles for this bus, I invite any user to include in a package easy to use bus trains like the ones that make LTA buses from IV, as well as make other friendly bus companies like the ones that are very friendly to Santiago buses, a-la Speed. Contributions from other bus manufacturers to this pack would be appreciated - shoot me a PM with a screenshot of your in-game livery and I'll consider it for the pack.
Likewise, I'm also considering making a British style expansion pack for this bus, where I could upload British (maybe Irish and Hong Kong) livers for this bus. Contributions from other UK bus manufacturers to this pack would be appreciated - shoot me a PM with a screenshot of your in-game livery and I'll consider it for the pack.
The liver I plan to make includes:
*Stagecoach: old and new, blue swoop and swoop
- Arriva: new, interurban, 2000s
*1st Place: Barbie, Barbie II, Olympia
- EYMS
*Dublin Bus
*Liver in Hong Kong
*A bunch of London banks

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
