About this mod Machine translation
New Zealand Firetruck Livery by LS Firetruck
-------------------------------
This is a fictional livery based on one of the many New Zealand firetrucks we have. Putting it all on America's firetruck is a task.
There are two livers, the only difference is the number of fire trucks. To be able to see you need to open vehicle.meta and add the additional livery required by FLAG_HAS_LIVERY in the flags section.
You must have Thero's map Stock Firetruck in his pack called the Stock Vehicle Template Pack to use this uniform.
You need to add the firetruck files to two locations. x64e.rpf and patchday3ng
-------------------------------------------------- ---
Install:
- Open OpenIV and enable edit mode.
- Navigate to \mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
- Find firetruk.ytd and open it.
- Select ther_sign_1 and click Replace. Browse to the ther_sign_1.dds file and click Open.
- Now click IMPORT and select ther_sign_2, leave the texture format as automatic and click OK.
- Select firetruck_detail and click "Replace". Browse to firetruck_detail_512.dds and click Open.
Now select firetruck_detail_spec and click Replace. Browse to firetruck_detail_spec_512.dds and click Open, then Save.
- Now open firetruk+hi.ytd and select firetruck_detail and click on Replace. Browse to firetruck_detail_1024.dds and click Open.
Now select firetruck_detail_spec and click Replace. Browse to firetruck_detail_spec_1024.dds and click Open, then Save.
- Now navigate to \mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\ and repeat the same process as above, alternatively, you can drag out the newly changed files (firetruk.ytd and firetruk+hi.ytd) and drag them into patchday3ng’s vehicles.rpf location.
If you missed patchday3ng, the standard firetruck will still show up.
Remember to add the flag FLAG_HAS_LIVERY in the vehicle.meta file.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
