IVHostages Returns for GTA V - Presenting, HostagesV!
Press the F10 key to enable the menu!
This is a major component of the mod and allows you to command the hostages.
Forcing them to kneel is not the main characteristic of this model.
A lot of people seem to miss this.

special thanks
I'd like to give special thanks to Guad and Carrythxd.
Guad is used to create NativeUI which allows me to implement a menu to control the hostage without having to assign each action to a key.
Join Carrythxd for helping me with testing, support, and getting these amazing screenshots of the mod.
Great job, you two!
feature
Kidnap/take hostages by targeting random pedestrians.
Force your hostages to follow you.
Force your hostage to their knees.
Force your hostage to the ground.
Force your hostage to raise their hands.
Attach a blip to your hostages so you don't lose them.
Instead of just shooting them, use the "Kill" button to drop them humanely.
Alternatively, you can let the hostages go by releasing them.
Requires .NET Framework 4.5.2
Visual C ++ 2015
NativeUI 1.5 (included in download)

Change log
1.0
initial release
to be added in next update
Have the hostage enter the last vehicle owned.
Fixed an issue where hostages lost their animations on impact.
Added option to move hostages anywhere, just aim where you want them to stand.
Numpad support
better animation
No longer able to target bodyguards, friends, etc.
Add .ini toggle value for notification beeps
Ability to extract ransom from hostage families (slight chance of ambush)
Known errors
- Menu Close: When aiming the weapon and opening the menu and then releasing the target key, the menu will close. To avoid this, don't aim while the menu is open.
- When opening the hostage options menu, previously selected options may be highlighted. They are not. If it bothers you, then navigate to that option and the highlighting will disappear.
I've narrowed the issue down to NativeUI itself and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do.
Hitting a hostage will cause them to lose animation, causing them to stand up and become completely still. This will be fixed in a new update.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
