About this mod Machine translation
The latest version includes extended flipping! Watch this video to see the feature in action.
GTA V physics don't allow for proper flipping, so I programmed something to have the vehicles perform Hollywood Rolls-Royces/Barrelrolls/Rollovers if the situation warrants it.
This script affects every vehicle, not just the player's vehicle.
Very useful for pit operations, don’t you think?
describe
This script makes vehicles actually rollover when they should. High ground clearance, long, narrow and/or heavily damaged vehicles are more likely to roll over if they slide too much, while low clearance, wide vehicles are less likely to fall like that. Being on or off the road can also affect them, as well as weather conditions.
feature
Both NPC vehicles and player vehicles can now roll over.
Rollover probability algorithm that calculates the likelihood of a vehicle performing a rollover.
Consider the concept of flipping:
Vehicle length, width and height
Vehicle body damaged
weather conditions
If the vehicle is in dust/snow
Install
"HollywoodRollover.dll" and "HollywoodRollover.ini" go into the \Grand Theft Auto V\scripts\ folder.
set up
There are several settings you can change in "HollywoodRollover.ini" to adjust the script's behavior to your liking.
You can define whether you want your vehicles to be affected by the script, and the same goes for NPC's vehicles.
Explosion flipping can also be enabled or disabled.
control
- Input: Reload settings from .ini. (Notifications will not be shown)

GTA V physics don't allow for proper rollovers, so I've coded something that lets vehicles perform Hollywood Rolls/Barrelrolls/Rollovers if the circumstances allow for it.
This script affects every vehicle, not only the player's.

Description
This script lets vehicles actually do rollovers when they're supposed to. High ground clearance, long, narrow and/or Heavily damaged vehicles are more likely to do rollovers if they slide too much, while low clearance, wide vehicles are less likely to crash like that. Being on road or not also affects them, as well as the weather conditions.
Features
Both NPC vehicles and Player vehicles can perform rollovers now.
Rollover probability algorithm that calculates how likely is for a vehicle to perform a rollover.
Concepts considered for the rollovers:
The vehicle's length, width and height
The vehicle's body damage
Weather conditions
If the vehicle is on dirt/snow or not
Installation
"HollywoodRollover.dll" and "HollywoodRollover.ini" go inside \Grand Theft Auto V\scripts\ folder.
Settings
You can change multiple settings inside "HollywoodRollover.ini" to tune the script's behavior to your likings.
You can define if you want your vehicle to be affected by the script or not, the same goes for the the NPCs' vehicles.
Explosive rollovers can be enabled or disabled too.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
