About this mod Machine translation
Change the weapon's fire rate, damage and impact in the game to be closer to reality and more game-friendly
MOD details:
Change the weapon's rate of fire, damage, impact, and range in the game to be realistic and gameplay-friendly. For example, a pistol can kill an NPC with three shots. Sometimes it will die a few seconds after being hit by two shots. Both M4 and AK can kill an NPC with two shots, but an NPC with a body armor needs four shots. However, an NPC with a body armor only needs three shots.
Instructions for use:
Put the explosionFx.dat inside/game directory/common/data to complete the installation (applicable versions: GTA4 main story and EfLC. May not be applicable to the full version)
Known bugs:
For unknown reasons, the weapon fire rate is not normal when in ragdoll physics.
Update log:
v1.2
Shotgun damage has been reduced by some (from 500 to 300), and impact power has been reduced.
v1.1
The fire rate of firearms is increased under ragdoll physics.
Update notice:
Support for EfLC weapons will be updated at the beginning of the summer vacation
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
