About this mod Machine translation
brief introduction
This project aims to make roaming/exploration in GTA V smoother, less disruptive, and less violent. The focus is to make the game as minimally violent and disturbing as possible, but if you like doing violent missions, this can be customized in the config file. The mod is activated by default, but if the deactivation key is enabled in the configuration file, the mod can be toggled between active and deactivated while playing. I highly recommend using this 100% completed game save to remove the violence and unlock all content.
Roam freely and explore the huge map with vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, airplanes, helicopters, bicycles and submarines. Do activities like golf, darts, arm wrestling, bowling, tennis, yoga, skydiving, scuba diving, triathlon, taxi missions, try to obey traffic rules, ride rides, buy more clothes, get haircuts, play games on land and water. Use mods to get more activities.
Make sure the mod is installed correctly (install more).
Configuration files and a good game save file are important. If you are 100% done with the game, basically just put FamilyFriendlyFreeRoaming 2.x.asi and FamilyFriendlyFreeRoaming.ini into the same folder as GTA5.exe. Otherwise please read all instructions under the installation section below.
See also "How to make changes in the configuration file". If you want less violence, scroll down to "How to make your game more violent."
If you have ideas for new features and improvements, I'd really appreciate you sharing them in the comments.

the term
- "Player" always refers to your character.
- In this manual and configuration file, the word "ped" (short for pedestrian) is frequently used. The game uses this term to include all people/people, but also ped-like animals. Players have their own category, players, although players can also be included in the ped category. An example is [Both_Options] in the configuration file. Otherwise, when saying "ped" or the plural "peds", it does not include the player, but all other people/persons (and animals where it makes sense).
- Ragdoll refers to ragdoll physics: wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragdoll_physics
- The configuration file that comes with the mod named FamilyFriendlyFreeRoaming.ini is sometimes called a ".ini file" or "config file".

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
