Update 1.4.2 (please install this new version) – Code optimized. The method of adjusting NPC accuracy in the old version is not efficient and may cause the game to crash. Please be sure to install the new version!

***Installation Instructions***
----
Please make sure you have ScriptHookVDotNet (nightly version) installed as this script is built for GTA V mod development using C#.
Copy RealisticAccuracy.dll to the scripts folder in the root directory of your GTA V. If the scripts folder does not exist, create one yourself.
Place the RealisticAccuracy.ini file into the scripts folder as well. If this file does not exist, the script automatically generates a default version containing the standard values.
Features
Set different accuracy levels for specific NPC groups through .ini files.
Supports multiple NPC types: Merryweather soldiers, police officers, NOOSE SWAT officers, VIP bodyguards, FIB agents and main story characters.
You can also set the accuracy to be reduced at night, and the specific time range can be set in the configuration.
If you want floating changes, set UseRanges to true, and the accuracy of the NPC group will randomly take values within the set range.
If an NPC is not in the list, you can add it yourself! This feature also applies to additionally added module NPCs.
Contains a configuration file preset with real effects. If you feel that modifying the configuration is too troublesome, just put all files into the scripts folder to start the game.
Configuration instructions
The script determines the accuracy of different NPC types by reading the RealisticAccuracy.ini file.
You can edit the .ini file to set a custom accuracy value (0-100). Here is an example configuration:
text
Merryweather = 100
FIB IAA = 65
VIP Bodyguards = 50
Cops NOOSE = 100
Military = 100
Main Characters = 100
Others = 6
Merryweather: The precision of Merryweather soldiers and black ops personnel.
FIB IAA: The accuracy of FIB agents and IAA agents.
VIP Bodyguards: Accuracy of NPCs who serve as bodyguards for VIPs.
Cops NOOSE: The accuracy of ordinary police officers and NOOSE SWAT officers.
Military: Accuracy for military personnel.
Main Characters: Accuracy of Franklin, Michael, and Trevor (when they are NPC allies).
Others: Accuracy of all other NPCs.
Things to note
Setting the accuracy to 0 will make the NPCs never hit you, while setting it to 100 will make them always hit you.
The default values are based on the real values set for each NPC type. For example, the police are more accurate, while the accuracy of random passerby NPCs is very poor.
This script is for personal use and study only. Redistributions or modifications should be done with respect to the original author.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
