Start by directly running the EXE program in the folder
This program generates content.xml and setup2.xml for you!

illustrate
The program generates content.xml and setup2.xml for you!
All you have to do is enter the dlc package name in the text box. You can then add as many rpfs as you want depending on how many rpfs you have.
You will need to know its name, location or directory... Most of the time I leave it as is as this is the most common way to set up a dlc package.
Also add your ytyps at the end. Remember to add YTYP IS IN/name.ytyp in the past /gta5/YOUR RPF.
Click the combo box on the right and add your metafile. Then click Add Meta and enter the meta file name and location. From there you'll see it added to the list!
Remember, if you add _METADATA RPF, only YTYPS, RPFS and METADATA RPFS will be registered! ! !
To open an existing content.xml, click File > Open Existing and browse to the content.xml you want to open!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
