About this mod Machine translation

For the Nissan Fairlady Z of YCA-y97y.

I thought the car's base handle line was lacking, and there weren't any existing Devil Z-esque handle lines posted, so I went ahead and solved the problem.

Top speed is around 265 mph, and acceleration is quick, around 0-60 times. 1.5 seconds, and almost uncontrollable oversteer makes the absolute monster of a car controllable.

Also included is a global.gxt2 file that changes the car's name to Devil Z.

Install:

  • Start OpenIV, switch edit mode, go to: update>x64>dlcpacks>s30>dlc.rpf>data, replace the mine.meta file with my file.
  • For the global.gxt2 file, do the same but go to dlc.rpf>x64>data>lang>americanandlc.rpf and replace the mine.gxt2 file with mine.

Update log:

v1.03.1

  • Reduce tire grip and reduce burnout

V1.03

  • Reduced tire grip, so now it will also slide when you try to turn, with extreme oversteer.
  • Modified the car name displayed as "Nissan Nissan Devil Z"
  • More anti-roll bar force
  • Slightly reduced braking force
  • Make suspension stronger

-Upped steering lock from 20 to 25

  • More burnout

v1.02.2

  • Even less acceleration, about the same top speed, lowering SteeringLock from 40 to 20

v1.02.1

  • Low acceleration, same top speed as v1.02

V1.02

  • This is a big one and handles the most extreme of the other builds I've come up with
  • Even faster acceleration, but the minimum speed is about 265 MPH (if you want a higher top speed, just edit the fInitialDragCoeff value in the processing file and set it from 6.66 to a lower value)
  • Even less stability; more overdriving, more sliding, more panic trying to correct a slide before rear-ending a semi-truck at 250 mph
  • Increasing the TractionCurveMax value will also make the braking more powerful, and I'd have BrakeForce counter it by countering it, but to be honest, the car is probably too unwieldy at this point. If you feel BrakeForce is too much, feel free to lower BrakeForce.

V1.01

  • Small braking force, slightly tired
  • Added a global.gxt2 file to change the car's name to Devil Z for added authenticity
  • To install it, start OpenIV, switch edit mode and go to: update > x64 > dlcpacks > s30 > dlc.rpf > x64 > data > lang > americandlc.rpf and replace the mine.gxt2 file with mine.

Additional modes used in preview videos (v1.03):

For YCA-y97y's Nissan Fairlady Z

I thought the car's base handling line was lacking, and there weren't any existing Devil Z-esque handling lines posted, so i went ahead and fixed that issue.

A top speed of around 265 MPH, ludicrously fast acceleration with a 0-60 time of approx. 1.5 seconds, & nigh-uncontrollable oversteer makes for an absolute monster of a car to control.

Also comes with a global.gxt2 file which changes the car's name to be the Devil Z.

INSTALLATION:

  • Launch OpenIV, toggle Edit Mode, go to: update > x64 > dlcpacks > s30 > dlc.rpf > data, replace the handling.meta file there with mine.
  • For the global.gxt2 file, do the same, but go to dlc.rpf > x64 > data > lang > americandlc.rpf, replace the global.gxt2 file there with mine.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
