About this mod Machine translation
This is the loading interface I made and used myself
The picture materials were all found online.
The screenshot is only part of the content
Installation method:
OpenOpenIV
Replace mod/update/update.rpf/x64/data/cdimages/scaleform_platform_pc.rpf
file with the same name in
Replace mod/update/update.rpf/x64/data/cdimages/scaleform_frontend.rpf
file with the same name in
replace
GrandTheftAutoV\update\update.rpf\x64\textures
frontend.ytd in (this is to replace the icon. The icon was created on a whim later on, so the screenshot shows the original icon)
Remember to back up! ! !
Because GTA5 is divided into an initialized static loading interface and a dynamic loading interface, the content of the dynamic loading interface can only be seen when loading the archive (this is how it is here, I don’t know if it can be adjusted).
I have modified every Loading screen.ytd file, but when the game randomly loads the dynamic loading interface, it seems that every file will not be read randomly (I have tried many times, and only a few of the 35 interface pictures are loaded. It may be that I am too unlucky...). I hope that someone can help improve it and share it. Thank you.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
