About this mod Machine translation
This is a simple stripe removal (if you want to remove them) and figures on the (civilian) Maverick helicopter. I've included removing numbers as well as removing stripes with multiple options for you to choose from. Just place the file in "mods/x64e/levels/vehicles" or "mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday2ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf". To reiterate, I will not and will not be held responsible if you mess up your game in some way, hence why I say put it in the MODS folder. I haven't tested it online and would advise against it. It's your choice. I'm currently trying to solve the problem of Frogger's uniform. If you're wondering how hard it is to remove the Frogger uniform, it's not that hard, I'm just an idiot. Turns out, I'm really an idiot. Fellow user howard9068 easily removed Frogger's Liver by performing the same process, but inside the patchday2ng folder. Why does modded Maverick uniform work outside of patchday2ng folder? I have no idea. Rockstar hates modders. Anyway, here is the link to his Clean Frogger mod. If you want to remove individual livers like stripes or text, I would abandon those edits. But thanks to his simple edit that saved me hours of stress.
Changlelog:
v0.1: Initial version
v0.2: Gave up on adding in Frogger textures. Link to blank Frogger mod in description
If you all want to edit any other textures, please let me know in the comments and I'll try my best.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
